The bee expo is hosted in the Kalmthout tourist information centre and can be visited free of charge. Opening times are limited, so check before you go.
In a 23-step trajectory, the bee expo is a rich exhibition of the history, culture, folklore and techniques of beekeeping and honeymaking. There is a wealth of information, but without guide or expert knowledge on the subject, it is a little difficult to access.
Nevertheless, spending a few minutes on each stop, one can easily spend an hour. There is also a small shop offering regional products and a selection of books and comics.
